Last Christmas, my brother bought me an iPod holder. I was obviously very excited because I bought him a DVD player and spent quite a lot of money on it . The kid has never once bought anything special for anyone for Christmas, he always buys lame presents that we all just throw in the junk drawer when he leaves . I think I can trace it back to when we were kids because we never had money to buy gifts for anyone . Still, I tried to get something nice or at least useful. This year it felt as if my brother purposely purchased presents that were obviously inadequate as well as horribly inexpensive useless and probably the most lame things that we have ever received . I guess it’s better than the present he bought me last year, it was a pencil, yes a pencil . I was shocked and amused because it had been used and there was no eraser left on it, so he obviously did not care if he got me anything . The year prior to that he got me a notebook that had been used, with his handwriting for his college classes . And, I’m not kidding when I say this, he actually bought me a piece of yarn one year. I am obviously still in shock by the present, I cannot imagine what was going through his head when he gave it to me . I don’t even think that he bought it. He must have cut a piece off a ball of yarn and then thought that was a great gift.
