When I get home, I always immediately took out my wallet, my keys, my cell phone, and its phone case then set them down by the front door so I don’t forget them the following day . Generally, unless I need them for something or go out, I leave them there. My mother hates that I do this. She thinks one of my friends is going to steal my wallet or my phone or whatever. She just doesn’t trust anyone. They wouldn’t be my friends if I didn’t trust them. A few months ago, my car was in the shop and I borrowed hers. Out of the blue, a few months after I had borrowed my mothers car she called me freaking out saying that one of my friends stole her valuable stamps from her glove box and that all my friends are thieves . I told her I didn’t even know that there was such an envelope in the car and that I hadn’t given anyone a ride anywhere anyway. She kept pestering me, bothering me, insisting that one of my friends had to have taken it. But I told her that if I didn’t even know it was there how would one of my friends who had never even been in the car? The woman has gone clinically insane .
