Wiper blades Are No Longer Only Used On Car Windshields, They Have Lots Of Everyday Uses
When Windscreen wipers were first invented, it was to help the automobile driver to maintain his clean windshield without the need to stick his hand out of the automobile and clean the windscreen maually.
Almost anywhere that glass is found, you may also find Wiper blades. These are not merely used on the front window of a car, but often on hatchbacks are also fixed to the rear. Some cars also have Wiper blades on their headlamps. This is most useful for dirty roads, or in snowy weather conditions, when headlights would soon become much less efficient without this brilliant invention.
Even aeroplanes have Windscreen wipers and I would assume they need to have some of the best Wiper blades available. As they fly at such high speed and with major temperature differences anything less than the best would not last.
Public transport, be it buses, trams or trains, all have Windscreen wipers in order to help their drivers with visibility. Although trains are on rails, and so it may be questioned “well why is it necessary for a train driver to see so clearly?” there are still signals along the train line which the train driver needs to take notice of in order to ensure passenger safety. The driver also needs to be able to see when arriving at a station that the train stops in the right place. Wiper blades, therefore, are most important for all types of public transport.
Motorbikes do not seem to have Windscreen wipers and this is most likely due to the fact that not all motorbikes have windscreens. Motorbike riders wear safety helmets with visors and they often also have a special rain visor, so the need for Wiper blades on a motorcycle is not as necessary as it would be for other types of transport.
The best wiper blades not connected to transport have personally got to be the ones used by window cleaners. How much easier it is to get a clean result on home, office and shop windows by the use of Wiper blades than ever it was with cloths. I am uncertain who first thought to move the Wiper blades away from the windshield and used them on a building window, but I admire their resourcefulness enormously. Streak-free windows are now much more easy to attain.
Small versions of Wiper blades are also in shops for use in the bathroom, on shower screens and tiles, so that these can be kept smear-free and help prevent the accumulation of limescale.
This all just shows how one person’s notion of how to improve life for a certain target market can in actual fact be beneficial to many more people’s day to day chores over time.
