Organisation Change – When Is Leadership Out Of Balance?
In an ideal situation, a change agent will find themselves attempting organisation change in a situation where the three major forms of leadership are already in place. This ideal is rarely the case in the working world. In lots of organisation change settings, the change agent will realize that the leadership in the company is out of balance. There will be a gap in one of the types of leadership, an overabundance of one type of leadership, or both. The industry that remains forever stable, however, does not exist. The ever-changing world and the ever-developing marketplace always manages to shake up even the most stable of industries and forces them to undergo organisation change. This presents a unique challenge to a change agent.
