Windsor Telecom is marking its 10th anniversary with an Investors in People Award.

The telecommunications firm, which has offices in Dorset and Surrey, has been given the accolade on its very first attempt to achieve the national accreditation and celebrated recently at Farnham Castle.

Anne Dolan, people developer at Windsor Telecom, said: “We are absolutely delighted with this result and it’s a timely celebration of our 10th birthday. Investors in People recognises UK companies that strive to improve business performance through good management and development of staff. Windsor put itself forward for the extended version of the standard which meant the company received detailed feedback on the higher levels of the assessment.

Windsor Telecom was established in 1999 and has over 8500 business customers both large and small. The company is officially recognised by Ofcom as the 2nd largest provider of 0845 numbers in the UK and is fast becoming the leading authority on the new 03 numbers.
