The effects of global warming can have various effects on individuals, particularly those who are especially prone to accumulating health problems like children, babies and the elderly. You can, however, get rid of the condition or prevent it altogether by eating healthier and practicing good habits that will boost immune system for the long term. Here are some quick and easy tips I have learned through the years.
1. Drink more water. Water is very important since it flushes out harmful toxins and keeps your entire system running smoothly. Water will also boost your immune system by assisting your organs function better. You should ideally take 10 to 12 glasses each day. One strategy I personally do is bring a whole gallon and store it in my room or office. I would then take sips and gulps every now and then, throughout the day until the container is empty.
2. Eat more nutritious foods. You should eat more healthy foods that will enhance your immune system and keep your other organs running more efficiently. Some of the best sources include fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat cuts like fish and chicken breast and carbohydrates that will keep you feeling full for long. Trade your Women’s wallets for protein shakes and power bars that will keep you strong and disease-free for weeks and months.
3. Citrus. Citrus sources will help you relieve symptoms like coughing, sneezing and watery eyes. You should eat items like oranges, lemons and pineapple more. These are also full of fluids that will flush toxins and wastes out of your body. Citrus sources are very effective in eliminating bacteria and other microorganisms, since these are rich in ascorbic acid. You can take supplements too, such as Vitamin C to get full benefits.
4. Exercise. Even if you have colds, it is recommended that you do some form of exercise for 20 to 40 minutes 3 times each week to boost your immune system, enhance the circulatory system and keep you feeling fresh and rejuvenated the entire day. Some of the ideal activities include swimming in saltwater, cycling and walking briskly. Leave your Letter openers at home and forget about the usual stressors. Take a warm shower afterwards and dry yourself completely.
5. Special gargle formula. You can mix 2 tablespoons of rock salt in a glass of hot water. After the salt dissolves, gargle the formula, making sure that the water reaches the far end inside your mouth very near the throat. Gargle the phlegm out. You will get rid of sore throat faster by doing this routine 2 times a day.
6. Medications. Drugs should be used as a last resort, when other substitutes and primary measures do not prove to be as effective. You should consult a physician first to know the right type of medication to take. Stick to your regimen very well and notice the results. Bring the treatment in your Briefcase for women so as not to forget.
