Makeup Samples

by MakeupGirl

It is a common event. I see a makeup product that looks intriguing that Id want to try, but I am afraid of spending money on it. I worry that the color might not be right or my skin will have a reaction, or simply the product wont do what it claims to do. Then I would just end up with makeup on my hands that I will never use and I am out the money. Has this ever happened to you? My favorite remedy to the problem is to find samples of the product before I buy it.

Free makeup samples are often available; you just have to know how to find them. Makeup samples are readily available and most of them are free of charge. The number thing you can do to find yourself samples is to ask. When you are at cosmetic counters and you see something that you think you might like, ask if they have any samples of the product.

Just because you are technically supposed to make a purchase of a product to get the samples, doesn’t mean they might not be willing to give you one for free if you just ask. Whats the worst that can happen? If they know you are truly interested in trying out a color or product, but you aren’t willing to spend the money on a full size one, they might be willing to give you a free sample hoping it will bring them business in the future.

If you are like the thousands of people who don’t have a department store with makeup counters nearby, thanks to the invention of the internet, you still have access to makeup samples. If you enter makeup samples or free makeup samples in a search engine, several different websites will come up.

Since you wont be able to pick up the makeup samples that you get online, the companies will mail them to you. This does require you to enter your name and address on their website which means they might start sending you their advertisements by email. They also might ask you to answer a survey before they’ll send you the sample. This is how a lot of companies are gathering information about the people interested in their products.

Once in awhile, you’ll come across a survey that is pretty long. I would say that you should stick to the shorter, easier surveys unless you are filling out a survey for a product you really want. Even though you are getting something free out of it, your time is still valuable and you should make sure your time is well spent.

Free makeup samples are a safe way to try out a product to decide if you really are a fan. Then, if you like it, you can spend your money certain you aren’t wasting it. Samples are the perfect way to get what you want without wasting your money.
