Enjoy Modern Living With Private Planned Community

Private living communities have been there in the US for many years now, but it is not until now that we are seeing a definite trend of social living that is currently sweeping across the country. If we browse through history we have to go a long way back to 1888 to find the first such community that came up at Tuxedo Park near NYC where there were mansions and manicured gardens for the living delights of the millionaires of those days. Then there was also the Llewellyn Park in West Orange, N.J., which was another private golf community favored by the elite and the celebrities such as Thomas Edison and others. But in recent times, there has been a trend to find a community that offers not just good living, but also the chance to practice a bobby like golf or something else.

If you are not a golf kind of a person, it will be almost impossible for you to gauge the deep love of a golf lover for the course and the earning to stay close to one, but golf lovers would pay anything almost to be here. In fact so much can be the attachment that the golfer may want to keep staying here for the rest of his/her life. So, the communities that are dedicated to golf are the obvious choice for all such people. However they are not the only people who like to stay here – many non-golfers too prefer them and there are many reasons for this. They are attracted by the calm and the peace, the serenity, the rolling greens and the manicured lawns – all contributing to make these places little heavens. These are often gated communities and so you can expect total security and privacy and so the members can relax here completely.

It is thus not a surprise at all that more than 8 million people and that too just in the US since 2000 have opted for such community living. Here people feel safer because of the presence of security guards, gated entryways, electronic identification of visitors, along with round-the-clock checking of all entry and exits. Plus, you will also find clubhouses, postal facilities and community areas such parks and maintained residential roads and above everything, people who come from the same background. Living in such a private golf community have thus become such a great prospect and this is because of all these reasons.

While a few architectural firms are exclusively catering to the people’s need for a private community living, real estate agents with better foresight are now joining hands with architects to develop such communities in grand scale. Perhaps in a few years from now, we will see that single dwelling homes will not be a priority anymore as more people would want to move in to a private residential community.

In the earlier days, you would have found a private golf community in a sunshine state like Florida. However that is not the case anymore. These communities can today be found all across the country. But before you select one, just be sure that it offers everything that you want – not all of them offer everything as there are communities targeted for people with distinct preferences.
