Making Gross Public Restrooms Look Well-Maintained
Schools all throughout the country are constantly upgrading different parts of their schools in the technology department, school books, and even in the sports areas, but what about something as simple as the everyday restroom facilities. Every day students misuse Toilet Paper dispensers and Hand Dryers in school bathrooms. The plan was to avoid excess use of paper, but instead schools have to replace equipment that has been mangled and written on and simply trashed. Microfiber cleaning cloth will not be able to clean up this clutter this time because now it is time for a total renovation. Schools all over the country need to understand that clean bathrooms and updated equipment are essential and necessary.
Bathrooms have been known in the past as the place to skip class and do things that people are not supposed to be doing in a school environment. Now they are the place to go if you need to make a phone call or participate in any other kind of action that is against the rules. Bathrooms, not only in schools but everywhere, are spoiled with offensive messages that are read by everyone who enters the room. Sometimes messages can seem funny and entertaining, but the truth is that it counts as destruction of property. When people deface other property it is a careless act of dishonesty and anyone who breaks the rules, especially in a school should suffer the same consequences as anyone else.
One thing that students all over the country also have a problem with is using up other people’s resources. The bathroom is already an ill-treated place of a school but there is also a lot of garbage as well. This is why paper has been officially switched to air and water pressure levels have been turned down a bit. Schools have no choice but to limit everything because recently, students are out of control and schools cannot do anything else but break them off.
The bathroom is supposed to be a quick, clean, easy to use area where students can do what they need to do and get back to their studies, but for some reason, students seem to think of it as a playground. The restroom should not be trashed by students but it should not always be as filthy as it is either. The school has the task of keeping facilities clean for students whether they should get it or not.
Students should be required to respect their general facilities and one of the only ways to enforce this is to enforce rules and create punishments. Without rules and consequences students will continue to disobey rules and property will go on to be defaced. As a school principle or official one should understand that this is the only way to make students pay attention. Especially in high school, it is a very difficult group to deal with as well. Enforcing the rules, can create good measures for the children entering school in years to follow and can create a great name for your school around your district.
