Part-time jobs come in all shapes and sizes. You can work out of your home or you can head to a specific location for a few hours after or before your regular job. If you are an energetic person, consider working for a few hours each week in retail. There are always shops in the area that are looking for some extra help, and many of them enjoy having part-time employees because they are not required to pay them benefits in addition to hourly wages.

If you want to work in the morning, there are newspaper delivery jobs that will have you up and making money before the crack of dawn. If this does not suit your schedule, look for something that offers more flexibility like food delivery. Some restaurants do not even require you to deliver food. You can drop off menus in their service area and create your own schedule. Keep in mind if you want to receive tips though, delivering both lunch and dinner to customers will be necessay.

Even in a bad economy, part-time work is often easy to come by. If debt has built up and you are ready to unburden yourself, consider picking up a few hours each week working part-time and making some extra money.
